An Epic Metamorphosis To Be On Display At Festival Of The Arts Exhibition
I recently entered a 16" x 20" piece of art titled "An Epic Metamorphosis" into the 2013 Festival of the arts - regional arts "juried" exhibition in Grand Rapids Mi. http://www.festivalgr.org/regional-arts-competition/.
I created this piece from a photograph of a sunset and then transformed it into a "school of Salmon migrating" by using multiple photo manipulation software types. I then printed it on a metallic paper to give it more depth.
"An Epic Metamorphosis" has been accepted and will be on display at the Urban Institute For Contemporary Arts in Grand Rapids, Mi. This exhibition will be open to the public May 31st through August 18th, 2013. There will be over 250 pcs of art/sculpture displayed by 200 Western Michigan artists. You wont want to miss this years show folks!
